22 April 2009: From a Whistleblower to an Activist, the struggle continues

A few months later after I had settled into my new country of residence, I was willing to put it all behind me, but my heart was always in South Africa and the people I had left behind, and I wished for justice for the families of those who had been killed and tortured by the Cato Manor death squad. I decided to send various emails to trusted friends, newspapers and created a YouTube page; later on, I even contacted government officials whose contacts I had found on Gigaba’s laptop. Furthermore, I sent emails to major international and local media outlets, as well as Human Rights organizations.
