On March the 9th and 10th, I testified under oath from the South African Embassy in Greece. Following my two days of testimony, together with that of other witnesses, the implicated officials fled and refused to testify before the inquiry. Booysen was the last to run away and withdrew from submitting an affidavit as well as refused to testify under oath. This latest testimony directly confronted the remaining denials and cover-up attempts. It reinforced the December 2025 vindication and triggered the collapse of the implicated parties’ participation. The flight of key officials, including the withdrawal of Booysen (former head of the unit), represents the most dramatic public confirmation yet of the systemic protection previously afforded to the Cato Manor Death Squad.
